Leadership & Involvement

I like to think of this page as my "resume coming to life". Here is where I share different ways I am involved on campus, including leadership roles, clubs I am in, and more!

Stonehill Cheerleading

Athlete & Social Media Manager

I have been on the team all 4 years of college! I attended tryouts after my freshman orientation, and have made countless memories and friendships since. We cheer and perform at Stonehill's Division 1 Athletic events such as football and basketball, and other events such as Skyhawk Madness (Stonehill's annual pep-rally). I was a part of SCC's first national competition team where we went to The College Classic National Competition in Orlando back in April 2023 where the team placed 6th in the nation. My sophomore year, I was named the Social Media Manager for the team and have since run all of the team's social media accounts. Below I have provided links to all of the social media work I have done, as well as a team fan site I created.

Study Abroad

The American College of Greece

I studied abroad in Greece at The American College of Greece for the Summer I session, a 5-week program from May-June 2025. This was my first time leaving the United States, and while it was a huge adjustment and challenge, it is my favorite thing I have ever done. I learned so many things about the places I visited, the culture, different foods, but I also learned a lot about myself. The chance to study abroad is an experience like no other and it taught me that taking risks can be well worth the reward. I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared to travel half way across the globe, let alone live there without family or friends, but I was able to make new amazing friendships and I had the time of my life.

Stonehill Orientation Program

Orientation Leader & Cohort Leader

I can confidently say that being an Orientation Leader is by far one of the best parts about my college experience. Not only did I make life long friendships, but I learned skills that I can bring with me into the professional world. I was a part of this program for 2 years. During the Spring semester, all of the "OL's" attend weekly trainings to prepare for the summer. We participate in leadership workshops while getting to know each other and make connections. We are then paired with a partner which is who we lead our mentees with! When Summer comes, we move into campus housing for 2 weeks: the first week contains more training and the second is "O-Week"! Once everyone returns in the fall, we have about another week in our OL role. It is our responsibility to not only provide the incoming class with important information, expectations, and campus resources, but to become one of their first friends and serve as a familiar face on campus.

Women in Business

Club Member

As a member of Women in Business, we hold regular meetings whether it involves peer-mentioring, hosting professional guest speakers, networking opportunities, academic support, alumni connections, and more. WIB is a very welcoming, encouraging, and supportive group to be a part of on campus.

Disney Leadership Experience

Member & Leader

The Disney Leadership Experience consists of weekly 2-hour workshops during the fall semester in preperation for an immersive 7 day trip to Disneyland Resort in California in January 2026. This experience teaches leadership, teamwork, storytelling, adaptbility, and creativity (to name a few). Being a team member in DLE gives me the unique experience to collaborate with peers in a thoughtful and impactful way. In Disneyland Park, our cohort attended 3 separate workshops led by Cast Members thoughout the week that challenged ad taught us how to lead "the Disney way".

Ruckus Hip-Hop & Step Team

Dancer

Ruckus has always been a highlight of my college experience. Like the Cheer Team, Ruckus performs at Skyhawk Madness, and always has a Spring Recital that we work all semester for. My sophomore year I did Ruckus and Cheer for Skyhawk Madness, and the recital for my junior and senior year. Balancing both teams is a lot of hard work , time, and commitment, but is beyond worth it. This team is so encouraging and supportive and has brought me so much joy during my time here at college. I also get to choreograph my own dance for the recital which is always a fun challenge.
