HI!

My name is Greta Willis and I created this team fan page! I am a cheerleader on the team as well as the Social Media Manager. I am a Communication & Media Studies major with a double minor in Business & Entrepreneurship graduating in May 2026. I created this site for many reasons, but to name a few, I wanted to upscale our team's original online presence through both social media and establishing new online channels (such as this page). Additionally, this project served as one of my deliverables for my Senior Capstone that I completed in the Fall 2025 semester. One of my goals is to make a positive impact and leave the cheer team better than I found it, and I thought what better way than to utilize my leadership role.

What I do as the Social Media Manager

I stepped into this role my sophomore year of college and have loved every second of it! We unfortunately were locked out of our original Instagram account, so I started a new account, @stonehill.cheer and have loved managing it ever since! While Instagram is our priority, we also have a team TikTok and Facebook account that I manage (our Facebook is brand new as of 10/27/2025).

Some of my responsibilities include:

Posting consistently across all social media platforms year-round.
I utilize Canva as the main editing platform for creating graphics.
- Graphics I am consistently creating are fundraiser promotions, tryout flyers, game schedules, event promotions, team introductions, team rosters, birthday shoutouts, and more. (See more on our Instagram account: @stonehill.cheer).
Responding to Direct Messages in a timely manner with accurate information.
Making short videos and reels of our performances, team member takeovers, other trending videos, and more.

Some additional things I do & have done:

I choreographed all of our new routines for the 2026 Basketball Season alongside Senior Captain Amberlee Holden.
I assist the Captains when needed, whether it's with creating or teaching choreography, helping run practices, or even just to serve as a third set of eyes and support.
Established a LinkTree to keep all of the team's social media accounts and related sites in one place for easy navigation.
And of course, created this fan page from scratch! I carefully decided what I wanted the layout and theme to look like as to what I thought would best represent our team.
